Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use breakev.com — which pages get traffic, how long people stay, and which countries visitors come from. Google Analytics uses cookies to collect aggregated, anonymized data such as page views and session duration. It does not collect your name, email address, or any other personally identifiable information.

You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking at any time using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

Google AdSense & Advertising

Breakev displays, or may display, advertisements through Google AdSense. When ads are active, Google and its advertising partners use cookies to serve ads based on your visits to breakev.com and other sites on the internet — sometimes called interest-based or personalized advertising.

You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings or the industry opt-out page at aboutads.info/choices.

Cookies

Cookies are small text files stored in your browser. Breakev uses a small number of them, grouped into four common categories:

• Necessary — Breakev doesn't set any first-party "necessary" cookies. The site has no login or session state, so none are required for it to load or function.
• Analytics — set by Google Analytics, described above.
• Advertising — set by Google AdSense when ads are active, as described above.
• Functional — Breakev does not currently use any cookies to remember preferences or settings. If that changes, this policy will be updated first.

Third-Party Services

Breakev runs on a small number of third-party services, each with its own privacy policy:

• Vercel (hosting) — may log technical data such as IP address, browser type, and request timestamps for security and performance purposes. See Vercel's Privacy Policy.
• Google Analytics & Google AdSense — see the sections above. Both are covered by Google's Privacy Policy.

Data Retention

We do not retain the numbers you enter into our calculators. They exist only in your browser for the current session and are discarded the moment you close or refresh the page — we never see them, so there is nothing on our servers to store or delete.

Your Rights

Depending on where you live, data protection laws such as the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) or the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) may give you the right to:

• Know what personal data, if any, is collected about you
• Request access to, or a copy of, your data
• Request correction or deletion of your data
• Opt out of the sale of personal data — Breakev does not sell personal data to anyone, under any circumstances

Because Breakev doesn't require an account and doesn't collect personal information to run its calculators, there is generally little to no personal data tied to you for us to provide, correct, or delete. You can still send any request to the contact address below, and we will respond within a reasonable time.

Children's Privacy

Breakev is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Since the site collects no personal information from any visitor in the first place, this is true for visitors of every age.
